Actually, fox, the truth of the matter is that shooting fish in a barrel gets boring after a while. You'd know this if you'd ever fired a weapon in your life, but alas, you'll just have to take my word for it. =) I only pop my head in here now, out...
Curlyrocks - July 13, 2013, 11:18 pm
Exactly, and from all the credentials I've seen or heard of that's all GZ was qualified for too.
OTC - July 13, 2013, 10:35 pm
So your only qualification is knowing which drug dealer has the best deal and which pizza hut delivers in thirty minutes or less.
Curlyrocks - July 13, 2013, 8:43 pm
I'm a huge stoner with a massive but wimpy dog and we both always have the munchies but that doesn't qualify me to solve local mysteries just as owning a gun didn't qualify GZ to be a cop.
Curlyrocks - July 13, 2013, 8:22 pm
I think what GZ did is more typical of the rich white guy in a nice neighborhood attitude than me. The whole who's that I don't know him every ones out to get me and mine sh!t seems like suburban paranoia.
foxrecon19d - July 13, 2013, 7:41 pm
Spoken like a typical rich white left-wing guy living an a great neighborhood
Curlyrocks - July 13, 2013, 7:23 pm
So George Zimmerman is going to solve the mystery of the recent break ins? By stalking some random guy he doesn't know. I wouldn't want to meet a burglar unarmed but I wouldn't go trying to do the polices job for them, I'm not trained for it.

Don't worry about crankyhead the Canadifake. he is recovering from the severe a$$-whoopings he gets every time he posts something stupid and is just testing the waters to see if it is safe to come back in and play with the big boys.
OTC - July 13, 2013, 3:49 pm
crankhead, read what i wrote and try to understand it, I said 'liberal MEDIA' edited the part out where police dispatchers asked about race, to make GZ look like a racist with his answer, in other words, you hear the answer but not the question, idiot
crankyhead - July 13, 2013, 1:50 pm
...national media attention in the future, and that hopefully, their answer will help convict an innocent man. Clearly it has nothing to do with filling out APB's and following procedure. Idiot.
crankyhead - July 13, 2013, 1:48 pm
Yeah OTC, bacause as we all know, police dispatchers ONLY ever ask what someone's race is, in order to make the person on the other end of the line, appear like a racist, on the off chance that whatever they're calling about, happens to gain...
StoneTools - July 13, 2013, 12:27 pm
regardless of race. Would you want to encounter a burglar unarmed?
StoneTools - July 13, 2013, 12:26 pm
You really should try to find an unbiased site with the facts about this case. For one thing, there were a number of breakins in that neighborhood recently. So, seeing someone who doesn't live there walking around at night would raise suspicions
Renza - July 12, 2013, 10:03 pm
Obviously shooting someone doesn't result in an explosion of blood, however if someone is sh** in the chest, a reasonable amount of blood will be coming out, if that person is above you leaning forwards, he'll probably fall on you, pressing the blood down
OTC - July 12, 2013, 8:03 pm
"how did GZ not basically end up covered in TM's blood?" You seem to watch a lot of hollywood movies, gunsh**s do not necessarily mean gallons of blood start spewing out immediately
Curlyrocks - July 12, 2013, 7:00 pm
That's true, he was attacked (for being an idiot) and he did have every right to defend himself. But I don't like the idea of everyone with a gun playing police. If your going to protect your self and your own with a gun don't take it looking for trouble.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 6:14 pm
That is a good point and I am not going to pretend that I know the answer, but testimony from Defense expert was that based on the wound and blood TM's jacket was 3 inched from his body when the bullet penetrated the jacket. The inference is that he...
posterman - July 12, 2013, 5:41 pm
the bottom line; Zim was attacked, he defended himself, the fact is the local Police Chief resigned when pressured to arrest Zim. if not for media and minority pressure this case would be moot
Renza - July 12, 2013, 5:36 pm
There's plenty of questionable information on the whole incident, though the main thing that sticks out to me is... I'm no expert, but if TM was on GZ when he was sh**, how did GZ not basically end up covered in TM's blood?
Renza - July 12, 2013, 5:25 pm
That would be his side of the story anyway, it does avoid any details regarding how long he's been following the kid up to that point too though. Follow someone long enough and they may not want to let you see where they live.
Renza - July 12, 2013, 5:22 pm
Fair enough, no going around that one given it was one night. I imagine one could still potentially argue a form of harassment or intimidation though, but in the end it comes down to speculating on the engagement, as there's only one living witness.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 5:05 pm
I agree that is EXTREMELY disturbing.
OTC - July 12, 2013, 5:03 pm
Lets not forget eric holder pushed to have this case brought to court, even though local law couldn't find any wrong doing
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 5:01 pm
Okay, I am in full on attorney mode now lol: Florida statute 784.048(2): "A person who willfully, maliciously, AND REPEATEDLY FOLLOWS, harasses, or cyberstalks another person commits the offense of stalking, a misdemeanor of the first degree."
Curlyrocks - July 12, 2013, 5:00 pm
I'm starting to get the idea a lot of people are worried more about their right to stalk people being infringed if GZ is found guilty than any B/S race war if he's found innocent.
OTC - July 12, 2013, 4:55 pm
911 told GZ to not follow TM & the account is that GZ was doing just that and returning to his car when confronted. TM had plenty of time to get home (a 4min span) but chose to do something else
OTC - July 12, 2013, 4:53 pm
Questioning suspicion is stalking and harassing? So the police are stalking us when they suspect us of speeding, and harassing us with a ticket. Good point renza. Liberal media edited out the part where 911 asked what was the race to make GZ sound racist.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 4:51 pm
Well, try not to do serious injury so hopefully the DA will only charge you with reg a**ault rather than agg a**ault. lol. (That was a joke. not advocating committing any crime!)
Renza - July 12, 2013, 4:45 pm
While simply saying "following someone isn't a crime" is true in the direct sense, one could easily argue that GZ's actions were in fact stalking and/or harassment, as any engagement he made would be for the sole purpose of questioning TM's presence there
Renza - July 12, 2013, 4:43 pm
If a line is drawn requiring physical interaction, that's ultimately what it means. I could be mistaken, but I believe in Florida, if you perceive a reasonable threat to your person, you have the right to defend yourself.
Curlyrocks - July 12, 2013, 4:41 pm
Might be worth it to teach some a**hole not to creep on me. Being stalked by an Ex-GF is harsh enough if some random guy was doing it I gotta admit I would freak out, but I would probably be yelling "why are you following me" rather than "your gonna die"
StoneTools - July 12, 2013, 4:39 pm
Liberal left:the new name for illegally funneling money to race baiting rallies like the anti GZ rallies that our tax payer dollars are funding.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 4:37 pm
I never said that. You need reasonable apprehension that death or serious bodily harm could result. If I was a juror, pointing a gun would certainly qualify. That is a crime btw(at least in AZ), as opposed to following someone which is not a crime.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 4:33 pm
You would beat the crap out of him for that? In Arizona, that would get you at least 4 months in prison.
Curlyrocks - July 12, 2013, 3:45 pm
I would probably be afraid of some guy following me around, I wouldn't react exactly like TM but I would probably beat the crap out of the guy to try and figure out why he was stalking me like a creep.
Renza - July 12, 2013, 3:28 pm
By that interpretation waving the gun around would not be a threat as there is no physical interaction, so you would only be good to defend yourself after getting struck, stabbed, or sh**.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 3:04 pm
I have heard of that case, but I am not super familiar with it. Certainly if TM had said, "I am uncomfortable with you following me. I am just walking home." and GZ did something aggressive I would be in the other camp. Common courtesies go a long way.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 2:59 pm
That's not my argument, that is the law! I am applying the facts of this case to the law. That is how it works. Or how it is supposed to work anyways. lol. Now GZ could be guilty if a witness saw him point the gun before the fight or something.
foxrecon19d - July 12, 2013, 2:55 pm
Not talking to the poster, Renzahead
OTC - July 12, 2013, 2:48 pm
How was the cop suppose to know that was his home when the professor acted belligerent towards the cop? Co-operation would have prevented him from being arrested and TM from getting killed, would it not?
OTC - July 12, 2013, 2:44 pm
"Self Defense doesn't apply when you're the instigator," so you're saying instigators should be killed? Is that politically correct? The GZ trial reminds me of the cop who "acted stupidly" for arresting someone breaking into his own home
Renza - July 12, 2013, 2:13 pm
wrong poster fox
Renza - July 12, 2013, 2:12 pm
that was odd... anyway, your argument is that the perception of threat isn't a basis for self defense, only a physical interaction legally justifies self defense?
Renza - July 12, 2013, 2:09 pm
So, your argument is that
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 1:52 pm
..me I can defend myself to whatever level is reasonable under the circumstances.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 1:50 pm
No, he absolutely did not present a threat. I demonstrated GZ did not stalk according to the legal definition. I am an attorney. You are flat out wrong that an instigator cannot claim self-defense. I can tease you and call you names. If you try to hurt..
foxrecon19d - July 12, 2013, 1:37 pm

Not gonna lie, man, but for someone who does not contribute any posters to this site, you sure whine, complain and bit#ch a lot. (Renza: 16 posters produced/ 2,000+ comments pleading for attention and counting...)
Renza - July 12, 2013, 1:27 pm
Self Defense doesn't apply when you're the instigator, while in the end he may have felt it necessary for survival, which I can respect, he presented a potential and justifiable threat via stalking did he not?
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 1:20 pm
..Black's Law Dictionary, "The offense of following or loitering near another, often surreptitiously, WITH THE PURPOSE OF annoying or harassing that person or committing a further crime such as a**ault or battery." IF GZ is true, his purpose was safety.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 1:17 pm
..IF GZ's story is true, he would have been justified in using deadly force in a non "stand your ground" jurisdiction too bc he was unable to disengage from the situation. I have heard many people say GZ was "stalking." "Stalking" according to...
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 1:15 pm
No.Bc "inexplicably following" someone is not illegal and cannot cause death or serious injury. This is not a "stand your ground" issue. The media cooked that up.Some jurisdictions have the contrary rule that you HAVE TO leave the situation IF POSSIBLE...
Renza - July 12, 2013, 12:56 pm
So you're cool with vigilante justice without trial or evidence posterman? There's a difference between protecting your own and looking for trouble. Would you be supporting the kid who killed an armed man that was inexplicably following him if GZ died?
Renza - July 12, 2013, 12:51 pm
Of course self defense matters, but in the end, there's no changing that regardless of reasons or circumstance, GZ did stalk then kill TM. The real outcome is more of how much people value stand your ground.
KaBoom - July 12, 2013, 12:25 pm
Really? That is what the GZ situation boils down to? Don't you have any respect for self-defense IF that is true?
posterman - July 12, 2013, 12:15 pm
hey renza wake the f*** up and smell the hypocrisy...stay meek and remain a victim
Renza - July 12, 2013, 10:59 am
Leave it to a fundy to defend idiocy by making up accusations of racist accusations. Well thought out as usual. In any case, hopefully this trial ends soon, really shouldn't be considered national news like it is.
